Mindfulness for Adolescents

Based on the international program – Stress Reduction for Teens by Gina Biegel – this course is an adaptation of the popular Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program but formulated especially for adolescents. The six-week course with sessions of 1.5 hours per session, assists adolescents to learn about their own stress response and practically implement mindfulness for regulation and self-awareness. The sessions are practical and assist participants to connect with what’s important to them and learn how to ride the waves of thoughts and feelings that occur as we negotiate our lives.
