Mindfulness Course at the Tasmanian Arboretum

Mindfulness Course Tasmanian ArboretumWe’re taking it to the Trees! The beautiful Tasmanian Arboretum at Eugenana is the location of our next Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course.

Caroline Macleod, our Mindfulness and yoga teacher, who is also a Clinical Psychologist, will be facilitating the 8 week program, which includes a focus on interrupting negative thinking and habits that reinforce depression. Learning these skills with the relaxing beauty of the trees, creeks, lake and platypuses all around you will be a delight! You’ll be warm from the elements in the Education Centre, an award winning building tucked away on the hillside. If you haven’t been to the Arboretum, ‘do yourself a favour’ and head down there. If you are part of our course, you dont need to pay the membership fee, but if you’d like to support the volunteers that maintain the Arboretum after the course is over, make sure you sign up as a member, or even consider becoming a volunteer. Its good for the trees, the planet and your own mental health!
