BetterTogether@7

1200 Tasmanians at Cradle MountainOver the past 9 years, 1200 Tasmanians have completed mindfulness courses with Mindfulness Programs Australasia. Pretty incredible for a dream and a good idea from Miranda and Christine way back when! They had slogan of making Tasmania ‘the mindful state’, and I reckon when we can fill the surface area of Dove Lake with our graduates, we will pretty well be there!

Learning Mindfulness skills isn’t just about improving your own life – that’s important and the starting point. However, it doesn’t end there. Your mindful living ripples out in the more purposeful and responsive interactions you have with people. It also affects the other than human world as well. So, we want to keep supporting our graduates to be part of building a more mindful and caring Tasmania. This is by bringing us all together in as many ways as we can. We have our Refresh Your Self mini-Retreats once a month around the state. Now, we are also bringing a 20 min refreshing and relaxing practice to the 1st day of every month with our BetterTogether@7 initiative. Read all about it here:

And yep, that’s right: the ‘7’ means 7am. Bright and early on the first of the month (better than a pinch and punch!) Lets see if we can break our zoom limits, as well as the surface area of Dove Lake (I was surprised to see AI adding in the cracks on the ice of the image I requested!)

See you there!
